Cogne's Winter Wonderland

As a mother of young children, I fantasize about the perfect winter getaway. My children, now 8 and 10, are quite independent but winter activities, be it skiing or sledding, inevitably requires an extra effort to help parents. Order socks, pants legs, Snow above, the inner leg pants back up, so get down, left ski boot, ski boots in the right hand left hurt, left a discount – Add to this the need to drive to the hotel on foot rental shop, shuttle to the slopes and rear, and a "rest" winter family vacation becomes nothing more than another type of work.

Imagine an elegant mansion in a valley among the mountains in Val d'Aosta, Italy, which just happens to have won the 2006 Spa Trophy Chateau presented by. Imagine further that this hotel is located on a parco neve (snow park) with trails cross country, downhill courses and small tubes Roulle Tapper (sidewalk electrical) to go up the slope, a trampoline and chairs in snow, warmed by the sun (sunglasses and sunscreen should be). If you dare, imagine further that the three steps of the hotel and the park is a ski hire at around nine euros (12 U.S.) per day and five-minute walk along road, a lift for more advanced skiers to about € 10 days (13 U.S.). Tired of kids? Throw the skis in the hotels covered by a calendar (each room has a locker) and inside with a warm cup of tea or hot chocolate at the corner of a carved fireplace wedding.

Sound like a fantasy? This place really exists in the Hotel Bellevue is located in a 1980 ski village manufactures which increased overnight. Available in Cogne, a mountain town 11 century Italian 1534 meters. It lies on the border National Park "Gran Paradiso" designated in 1922 by its beauty and unique wildlife and fogliage. The hotel has many benefits for families, it is difficult to know where begin. The spa area with pool and Jacuzzi with hydro-massage reclining seats and is enjoyable for all but the smallest visitors. As for spa treatments in particular, are for the pleasure of mom and dad, while younger visitors can enjoy games for children featuring authentic century offices, a school house 19, wooden toys, balls bouncing, a puppet theater, legos and other surprises. Beside this room is a cinema of the family to see at night. Hotel has three restaurants – one with a star Michelena. I really enjoy a fondue evening family dining "Bar Cheese the front of a fireplace. In the Good Brassiere Le Bec, which had the braserade "Braciere" has been placed on our table, with sausage, potatoes and Reblochon to melt. At the end of the plate, Crepes Suzette directly from Braciere. The loving hand of four generations of the family Roullet-Jeantet is evident in every corner of the hotel family. Nowhere have I seen a combination of rustic charm and sophisticated elegance.

But the pleasure do not stop at the doors. The Aero Club Valle d'Aosta will have to fly, gliding and parachuting in and around the Mont Blanc Blanc / Mont. Sled pulled by horses to take you too a trip through the snowy valley Valnontey. Centro di Turismo Equestre "The Sled" 333 314 7248 39. We chosen to spend our non-skiing time training non-recourse to become the leader of a team of sled dogs with Mr. Gentry. Children are protected in a dog sled and team leader by a professional. I got my own sled, some training and I left, the head of my own team. Although exciting, I felt like I was in a Wild ride at Disney, where the brakes malfunctioned. It was very fun, but certainly for those of you that is in excellent shape (I am not, unfortunately, in this sector of the population) and an emotion as well (I at least part of the second group). The Huskies, I learned, I learned, the better faster, and you need a good balance and the strength to continue with the sled. Next time, I would opt for the seat of a "child", located in a sleigh for roasting, letting the professionals do all the work, listening to the hiss of snow across the landscape and the passion to fight the dogs through a field of powder white.

Is nestled in a jeans look good?

Well, I'm a teenager. I've always been …. risk-taking with my own way. I know often wear bow ties and suspenders at school (but never together). I thought to invest in a pair of Doc Martens (original 10 eyes), specifically as you can with pants back in or out. It is this aspect of working in a man? (My inspiration is the way Kurt Hummel, btw) And how can I get in my jeans? I do not mean the method, you can use the brackets as: http://www.amazon.com/JT-Elastic-Pant-Clip/dp/B002HJ79L0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1309418223&sr = 8.2 and only used at startup instead of going out? Thank you!
